The Bridge Between Architecture and Storytelling (3)
But until someone enters it, it remains difficult to understand.
How large does it feel?
How is it used?
Who belongs there?
What is happening beyond the architecture?
This is where entourage begins.
In architectural visualisation, entourage is the process of introducing people, movement and everyday life into an image. It communicates scale, but its role goes far beyond measurement.
It removes the unknown.
It allows viewers to imagine themselves—or the people they are designing for—occupying the space.
And it has to achieve all of this in a single frame.
A visualisation has one frame to make a space feel real. Entourage is what turns scale into experience–and architecture into a story people can see themselves inside.
If you aren’t convinced yet that it’s worth investing in this market, consider the possibilities it creates for the user.
When we watch a sporting event on TV, the camera angles and the replays displayed are chosen for us. In the Metaverse, we can review that close call from every angle. We aren’t waiting for the highlight reels; we’re creating them.
Similarly, attending a concert would allow for an up-close experience with the artist. What about a private serenade in the comfort of your living room? Not to mention social interactions with others in attendance is possible even when, in the real world, they are on the other side of the globe.
